Our movie participations

Our club often participates in the filming of video clips and films with the theme of World War II, and very often also as part of international production. In the films you can see not only our members, but of course also our military equipment.

In May 2023, we were chosen again by a foreign production, this time for a film about the Italian campaign in 1944. Filming took place in Croatia and we once again managed it perfectly. A small video greeting from the shoot here

The Jojo Rabbit movie released in 2019 - In this movie we have provided all the military equipment and soldiers of US Army. We also received thanks from the director and producer for their cooperation on the film, which was nominated in six Oscar categories.

The Aftermath movie, based on the novel by Rhidian Brook, starring our technician and some of our friends, premiered in 2019. In post-war Germany, war-torn Hamburg in 1946, Rachael Morgan arrives to meet her husband Lewis, a British colonel who is tasked with rebuilding the bombed-out city. As they move into their new home, Rachel is surprised by an unexpected decision Lewis has made - they will be sharing the house with its previous owner, a German widower and his teenage daughter.                                                                                       

At the end of November 2022, the four-month filming of the film Brothers, directed by Tomáš Mašín and based on the script by Mark Epstein, ended. The film tells one of the greatest stories of the Cold War about the resistance group of brothers Josef and Ctirad Mašín. It premiered in October 2023, seventy years since they fled to West Berlin. We loaned uniforms and a Graham staff vehicle for the film.


In 2021, we took part in the filming of the film Nuremberg under the baton of director Nikolai Lebedev. Unfortunately, the film with an international cast does not yet have a known European premiere date.

Charleston Pilsen video clip filmed by some of us during the Liberation Festival Pilsen in 2018. The video was jointly prepared by the Pilsner Jazz Band with the song It Don't Mean A Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing by Duke Ellington, a dance group with choreographer Lenka Sekaninová and Video Factory Production. The filming was supported by the City of Pilsen. Our friends from KVH Tommy & Yankee Plzeň also participated in the filming.

The Catcher Was a Spy is a 2018 American war film directed by Ben Lewin and written by Robert Rodat, based on the book of the same name by Nicholas Dawidoff. It stars Paul Rudd as Moe Berg, a former baseball player who joined the war effort during World War II and participated in espionage for the U.S. Government. The film premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, and was released  in 2018.

  

The Defeated, also known as Shadowplay, is a 2020 television series. New York Police Department Detective Max McLaughlin gets assigned to post-World War II Berlin by the United States Department of State to help organize and establish a new police force and at the same time, looks for his brother, Moritz, a United States Army soldier who went missing at the end of the war, and helps Elsie Garten, a novice female German police superintendent, to fight crime in 1946 Germany.


Skyggen i mit øje also known as The Bombardment, is a 2021 Danish war drama film written and directed by Ole Bornedal. The film deals with, among other things, Operation Carthage carried out by the Royal Air Force in Copenhagen, Denmark during the Second World War, where one of the planes crashed near Institut Jeanne d'Arc, causing the school to be misidentified as the target and also bombed. The fates of several Copenhagen residents collide when a WWII bombing mission accidentally targets a school full of children. Our Clarktor Tractor M6 can be seen in the scenes shot at the Líně airport. 

In July 2013, the South African advertisement of the Ogilvy agency for the Lunch Bar from Kraft Foods was filmed in Milovice. The demanding production directed by the Czech Starlite Pictures required approximately forty extras. And our vehicles in the main role again.

In 2021, we went with our tank to Bulgaria, where we starred in a commercial for a video game Warpath.                               

The Dimension movie filmed in 2016, in theaters in 2022. In this movie, our American convoy was attacked by the German Luftwaffe.
